During the investigation, users of PE protective film reported many quality issues to us, hoping that these issues can be resolved in a timely manner. But the problems encountered by each user with PE protective film are different, and targeted analysis is needed to develop a plan.
1. The problem of poor adhesion of PE protective film
The most likely cause of this problem is that the pressure-sensitive adhesive viscosity of the PE protective film is not enough, or the pressure does not meet the standard, the surface cleanliness of the adhesive is not enough, and so on. Based on these situations, a higher solution is to replace the pressure-sensitive adhesive or film pressure to avoid similar problems from occurring.
2. The problem of PE protective film lifting at both ends in the later stage of use
Generally, it only occurs after encountering high temperatures when the stretching degree of PE protective film is too high. It can be seen that the environmental temperature has a significant impact on the quality of PE protective film adhesion.
3. Difficulty in peeling off PE protective film
There are two reasons for this problem. On the one hand, the sensitive adhesive used may not be a special sensitive adhesive for protective films. On the other hand, the material used for the protective film mother tape is too soft to withstand the tensile force during peeling. To solve this problem, we can only start from the root, either replace the pressure-sensitive adhesive or replace the material of the protective film mother tape.
4. The problem of PE protective film delamination
This is a common problem, which means that when the protective film is peeled off from the surface of the profile, the adhesive residue of the protective film remains on the profile product. If the user encounters this problem, they can use a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of alcohol to repeatedly wipe the remaining sensitive adhesive until it is completely wiped clean. But it should not be too forceful to avoid affecting the surface of the material.
